Harlan

Harlan was diagnosed with AT/RT in January of 2024 at 6 months of age.  He underwent surgery in which he had about 95% of the tumor resected.  He had a few seizures, some right side weakness, and difficulty eating after the surgery.  He recovered well from all of the symptoms. 

Harlan began induction chemotherapy in February.  He did very well through the 2 induction rounds and surprised all the staff working with him.  He was supposed to have another surgery after induction rounds, but the tumor that was left was so minimal, they did not feel the risk of surgery was worth going in and trying to search for the little bit left.  

He then proceeded to Consolidation with stem cell rescue.  He began the final round of chemo in June. He is now finished with chemo and starting radiation at the end of the month.

We are so proud of how far he has come and how well he is doing through each one.  We are so thankful for support, prayers, and love for Harlan.
